More This & That & Prayer

Tuesday This and That consisted of planting bushes, shrubs, perennials, and an ornamental maple tree. Having a lovely lunch with my sweethearts (Nathan, Elizabeth, Ann ... and precious grandson, Jacob). A trip to the library, the bank, and to the upholstery shop to pick up my vintage chairs that I had redone. Mowing the wild grass. Son-in-law, Ryan, washed my truck ... I rocked in my new rocker on the front porch while sipping fresh brewed coffee and gazing at Jacob.

My blog friend, Arlene, is having another round of chemo today ... please march on up to the thrown room of heaven in prayer on her behalf.

Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Praying for Arlene just now, God bless her. Good for you, stamping up a special Birthday Card! I'm sure you enjoyed it as much as I do. =) Thanks for your sweet comments on my collages. What I love about collage & stamping is that it surprises you how it turns out..and so many colors and stamps to play with. Love the word picture of you on your front porch in your new rocker...'summer time and the livin is easy'...we wish it was more often, don't we? grin..

I'm praying for your friend. It certainly helps to have God at your side at a time like that.
And how fun to be able to relax with those you love.

What could be better then a day well spent and gazing into the eyes of a sweet grandchild? Nothing could be better! I feel sorry for those who miss seeing that simple pleasures are the greatest pleasures - the things that money can't buy. You are blessed.
We all join in prayer for Arlene - I know that she appreciates it beyond what words can express.

Thanks for the reminder about Arlene's chemo. I'll see if she left any word today.
Enjoy your rocking. We can do that best between midnight and 8:00 in the morning because it is so hot, mid ninties, during the day.
Take pictures of your flowers, please.
