"Regarding Our New Baby!"
Imagine opening your on-line "mailbox" and seeing a message from your husband titled, "Regarding Our New Baby" !! Of course, I immediately wanted to find out exactly what "our new baby" referred to, as I knew I wasn't giving him any more children ... so opened that letter first. Seems the new baby is a 1976 Jeep that dh's friend is bestowing upon us. It's to "be delivered" :) next week during dh's visit. Apparently it's a restored vehicle and needs a new home, so I guess that means we're adopting. (I don't know nuthing bout birthing no baby "er" driving a jeep!) I suppose it will be good to have a 4-wheel drive vehicle ... but you think he'd consult me first before bringing home his new child. Boys and their toys ... Here we go again!

I'm not even telling my husband about your newest family member, he would turn green with envy. He feels he can't drive anything that isn't a 4-wheel drive vehicle, and a '76 Jeep, that would be the ultimate. He's like one of those to leave up north at our cottage.
Boys and their toys says it all!
I am glad to say that My husband is not to into old cars or nothing like that, so I hopefully am off the hook on that...
Our last "baby" was a '65 Pontiac GTO that we had for about eight years. It was a beautiful "child" and made us a nice little profit when we recently sold it. Heaven forbid should he bring some old heap of a car home and park it on the front lawn! :)
My husband has a John Deere tractor. That's his toy.
He's not into cars, thankfully, because knowing Randy, he'd have them strewn all over our property!
Little GTO, ahh your looking fine...not only do I remember the song well, it was another one hubby lusted over! He's not really a car fanatic, but he does have his favorites.
sweet.... :) congrats!
How funny! My hubby is wanting a new baby of his own...a 4WD something or other..."for when we buy our mountain cabin" yeah right...in 2-5 more years...
I don't think I'm up for adopting just yet..:0
Congratulations Mommy!
The gift of a Jeep..wow! That must be a rare thing to receive..how nice. Your son will probably love it too. sounds like a guy thing to me...=)
