Recovering From Blog-Fest '08

Attending the blog-fest yesterday was comparable to living in the cartoon version of Alice In Wonderland. Not many, if anyone, used their real or complete names. There was the Toadman, Stickman, Rocket Brains (dressed as Lt. Columbo or a flasher). Cis and Dogwalk Musings ... just to name a few. Cops and outlaws shared the same food and drink. A rather bizarre moment trapped somewhere beyond the looking glass. Here are some pics to prove my point.

Never heard of a blog-fest and very glad you survived it safe and sound. I'd be too ... hmmmm, what's the word??? Oh yeah, 'chicken' to attend one of these. Unless it would be with Trish, Sara, Pat, Am, Kelly, Amrita and you.

Glad you made it back in one piece - I think I'm getting dizzy from looking at those pictures!
Louise, I think that would be called a "praise-fest" instead of a blog-fest with all of the aforementioned people!!

Love the way you presented the pictures! And it was a delight meeting you.

The above blogger, dogwalkmusings, has given a very accurate description of the blog-fest and how it was organized/sponsored by the Spokesman Review Newspaper. Check out her post dated 2/17/08

Mrs. Mac: It was nice to meet you, now you will have to come by, especially if you have young children as they love this little place. I am usually out most afternoons, but of course the weekends are best. Noon till dark usually. I liked your picturess and hope you had a good time. see you soon. The Stickman

OOOOOOOOhh -? I don't know what I think. Sounds scarry to me. I'd sooner meet you face to face over a cup of tea. Sometime, maybe :-)
Although I'm sure you met a lot of nice people there, anyhow they sound pretty nice on your comments. I think I might even check a couple out :-)
Just gramma_s being a gramma and trying to take care of you. :-)
