Well, I was able to get most of the 2ft thick sections just using a ladder and a 12 foot piece of left over oak trim board. After going out an upstairs window for a few moments ... just didn't want to risk it. Progress was made, however, where the snow accumulated heaviest along the roof edges. I just have a few more sections to to in the next few days. I only fell once ... down a four foot berm of snow ... no stitches required. Sara ... I think my tummy jiggled ;) Thank you Louise for your concern. I have been known to take on too big of a project ;)
Kindly get down off that roof or I'll have to send your dad up there to help you. The only problem is that we can't get out of our driveway and road. It has been snowing here all day and they expect more tomorrow, so no Super Bowl Party or church for us! Help!!
You renind of the lady that had grass growing on top of her roof so she put the cow up there. and went in the house an tied a rope around her ankle so she could tell when the cow moved around...well the poor cow fell off the roof, and the poor woman............ you'd better have your dh down by the fireplace with a rope tied around you leading down to his ankle in case you fall off. I'm sorry, I felt wicked for awile. Do you mean I have to sign my name to this? gramma_s
