Hello Mrs.Mac, thanks for coming by to visit me at knitting kat. Hope you will find your way back again. You must be so very busy, I can't even imagine being able to do what you are doing. I am delighted to meet another Elsie Dinsmore fan and yes, kindred spirits we must be =). You know we are rather a rare breed don't you? I have friends who think Elsie on the boring side...sad. Well, its off to bed I go. We've had a wonderful Anniversary, thanks for helping to make it so memorable with your good wishs....=)
Your little boy is darling and anyone knows nothing beats good BBQ chicken. I read Maggie Ann's comment and does she mean "Elsie Dinsmore" as in Martha Finley's books. I loved those books when I was growing up and passed them on to my oldest daughter who named her second daughter Elsie.
Hi Mrs. Mac, I am Jan Thompson's husband,Pat. I just noted and wanted to thank you for the sensitive and caring tribute to Jan that you posted on June 13th. She was born on June 13th,1952 and we were married on June 13th 1975, so your tribute carries a host of memories that makes her live again in my heart. Thanks again for remembering.... All the very best on building your new house and enjoying that good looking boy who appears to like his chicken. Pat Thompson

Yes, gramma_s ... the same little dear Elsie Dinsmore written by Martha Finley in the late 1800's
