Hurray!

School is back in full swing. Nathan began his life skills class at school and is mainstreamed for part of his day. So far, so good! He's taking care of "business" :) all by himself with his potty skills ... a great milestone for school life! He leaves at 8:30 with door to door bus service. Each little step is a giant progress of independence for him.

This has been a busy week. DH is home and we've been running here and there to place orders and get quotes for work to be done on the new home. Today the walls for the basement and crawlspace were poured. It's a good stress this building process ... unlike the bad stress trying to sell our old home. Things are moving quickly now.

I was telling my mom last nite that when ever I think I'm having a rough time I jsut read through some of blog friends stories...I guess we all go through really hard stuff but some do seem to ge tmore than their share. i know the Lord knows what He's doing...remind me of that when I'm in the midst of a nightmare... :)

What a cutie! He looks sooo much like a boy who was in my son's kindergarten class. I think it's healthy for all of the kids, when the special needs kids are blended in. My kids school is a catchment school for special needs kids in our area, so there's LOTS in their school. Makes them all comfortable with each other. It's really cool.

Your Nathan looks like he is enjoying going to school. Wishing for him a school year thats lots of fun all year long...isn't it something how kids love riding the bus? Oh the joys of being a child..making those happy memories to look back upon all your life. Good to hear your new home is coming along well too...

Nathan has a cool, hip kind of what's happenin' look going on there! I'm so excited for him and all of you! God is so good and hears our prayers!
Since I've been away, I missed the vote on the house pictures..I vote for #3. Hopefully everything will just fall into place now and you can actually see the progress happening.

Hey there Nathan! You sure have gotten taller since I saw you last... which was like 8 years ago. :o) Have a great time at school. I bet the other kids think you are fun to have around.
