Silver & Gold

Make new friends but keep the old ... some are silver ... others gold.

Next week hubby will be on his own with the troops (Ann, Elizabeth, Patrick, Ryan) taking charge of the home front. I try to run a tight ship and have a schedule that looks rather official. Taking a vacation from my family requires an act of God. Nathan just needs to be looked after all the time that breaks from him are far and few between. So while the family is busy watching Nathan and figuring out the schedule (on/off the school bus, bed time, bath night, etc), I hope to be enjoying a get away with some silver and gold gal pals to British Columbia and Alberta, Canada. Will most likely not be posting much if any while I'm away ... so don't hold your breath.

Be back after my batteries are recharged :0)

Dear Mrs. Mac,
If anyone deserves a vacation, it must be you. Indeed you have been working for four these last years.
I hope you can get your batteries recharged, and be sure, you'll be welcomed home.
It's always when you are not there all your "invisible" work is most appreciated.
Enjoy and bring your camera. Then we can be sharing triumphs and laughs afterward.
I keep Nathan particularly in my prayers.
From Felisol

Sounds like some much needed R&R is about to take place.
I'm confident that you have the troops well versed, left detailed instructions..have the pantry well stocked, so clear your mind, take a deep breath and recharge those batteries!
Looking forward to your return and maybe some pictures, eh? That "eh" is to get you ready for Canada!

May your trip be just what you need to recharge, revitalize, giving you that boost to come home to lovingly take care of your family once again. I'm sure they will miss you and you will miss them.

You are an inspiration.

We all need a break for the real world every now and then and you certainly deserve it! I can't wait to see pictures, where exactly will you be? The Canadian Rockies are breath taking!

I am looking forward to go to Beth Moore again this year with my best friend Brenda. Last year it was in San Antonio and this year we are going to Springfield, Illinois. Besides the obvious, it is Beth Moore, this is the b-centennial of Lincoln's birth o there should be some fun stuff to do as well! I need the break desperately!
Love, Connie
