Take A Hike

The past week was as good as it gets. Vacation at home. No need to pack a bag. Just impromptu jaunts around town. Visiting with the kids and our grandson. A great booming display of God's might as a thunderstorm rolled in and caught us off guard. Hiking and splended scenery. Fresh air to fill one's lungs and near perfect temps.

I'm so glad life is good with your hubby. I was a little afraid the adjustment would be difficult, after you have had a commuter marriage for so long - sort of like a military marriage. Thank God it is not that way!

It sounds like heaven on earth...the ability to enjoy to the utmost the beauties of life. My most 'awe'some moment today was seeing beauteous clouds piled up like sheeps wool in a flawless blue sky. Glad to stop by and visit for just a minute!

my oldest, jay, just said to me last night..."what would you think of vacationing at home?" and i replied that i would absolutely love it. once again, you got my vote on a perfect day! your scenery is more grand than mine but it was all carved out just for us by God!
p.s. i may reconsider vacationing at YOUR home.

Sounds perfect!
The scenery is beautiful and you couldn't put a price on that kind of "togetherness"!

Wow am I ever jealous! It's officially miserably hot here in Texas where just doing yardwork sucks the life out of you! Enjoy! It sounds like you are!
