Sunday Afternoon ... Rest ?

Another day of rest as I recover from a pinched nerve in my neck.  Mr. Mac and Patrick headed out to church this morning.  I stayed home with Nathan ... he seems a bit agitated and complaining about his head hurting ... he seems not to notice the more he screeches the greater his head hurts ... no amount of reasoning seems to work with him.  My job is to sooth him and set him on a path for calming his inner being.  Not an easy task at times ... especially when the 'calmer/mother' is trying hard to rest quietly.  A dog chasing after its tail is a good description of life in my world today.

I understand completely.
May the Holy Spirit show
us how to calm and comfort
our boys.
Hope your neck heals
quickly.

Ooo, so sorry to read of your and Nathan's pain.

ditto Sandy's comment.

When is the next time for Nathan's 'check-up'? There are so many reasons for headache. Poor boy!

Pinched nerves are most unpleasant! For getting out of that tail-chasing, I recommend a book by Lisa Morrone, PT. A search for her name online will produce the title.

Dear God...please touch the pain in Mrs. Macs neck and give her peace and rest.
And please, quiet, sweet Nathan's headache and bring calm to his being.
In Jesus Name,
Amen

I'm also praying for the both of you.
Nathan's headache; so many thing can cause it. I was always my worst nightmare, trying to help the one's not havinig enough language to explain where. Are his teeth well looked after??
An inflamation can cause incredible pains.
(And, yes, I know the dentist visits are a horrible trials, both to Nathan and yourself.)

Serina has given me some yoga lessons for relaxing neck muscles. They work!
There actually are yoga lessons on YouTube.
Wishing the best for all of you

Thanks for your words and prayers for comfort ... you gals are the best!

Yes .. Felisol .. Nathan's teeth are well looked after .. he has no cavities .. but perhaps he's feeling some tooth pain from slow to arrive teeth. His mention of pain comes from when our family laughs out loud (LOL:) I think its more of a conditioned response to him not liking us to laugh ... of course, it's ok for him to laugh!

Hope you are doing better now. I'm slow to be catching up on reading. I was sent this in an email recently & thought of you: http://www.wimp.com/babymoose/

(Actually wondered if it was your place, but i would guess the baby toys in the yard kind of rule it out.)

May the peace of the Lord be with you! :)
