Mr. Mac and I attended a memorial ceremony honoring those lost in battle and those veteran's that have passed away this last year. Yes, that's a vintage WWII uniform dh is wearing.

Whenever I am somewhere that plays the National Anthem (Phyllis's school opens the concerts with it) I always get goosebumps and teary eyed when its finished.

I think about young men, like your son, who have defended our country and who will continue to do so. Give your son an extra hug and kiss for me!

How good to see this beautiful rememberance. Is that a word..hmmm. I enjoyed your comments at k-kat and loved the one about seeing your grandchildren after only a week apart! smile. It will be 3 months or so untill we get to see ours again. Enjoy for me too ok? Had I told you our daughter & her hubby built a new home...and were about to move in when the fitting under the sink burst apart and flooded the house all night. Some of the hardwood floors were ruined..2 boards actually are standing on their side and many will have to be replaced. She's had a rough week...and is really tired out. Well, I hate to admit it but its 12:10 pm and I'd better get to bed. We just watched the hockey game after church...and I'm So glad the Penquins won!! btw, how is your cardmaking coming along? Had time create lately? I tried using beeswax today and really had fun. Just what I need...lots of fun...I'm serious..grin.
