A Quiet Spell

Rest, peaceful rest. If you need to reach me, try finding me out back on the hammock. But please, please don't make me get up to greet you at the front door ... just mosey 'round back, tip-toe if need be. If my eyes are shut, wait a spell; I'm recharging my batteries.

One thing I do a lot of is GET UP AND DOWN. There's not much time during the day to sit a spell and ponder life with a special needs child at home ... and a "needy" pooch. I did find my hammock last week ... so I'm off to search for the hooks (somewhere in the garage) .

This morning my parents headed out of town on their way to Wyoming. My oldest son left last week. Now it's time to settle back into a rhythmic pattern, one that will re-establish Nathan's need for routine. The ebb and flow of life ... it gives a person balance and brings one back to earth.

"Six days you shall labor, but on the seventh day you shall rest; even during the plowing season and harvest you must rest."
Exodus 34:21

Mrs. Mac, that is cute, I don't intend to be tripping up on tripper things this time. Of course I didn't intend the first time either.
When Karen runs the NY Marathon we follow her using the NYC Subway System.

Karen says she will miss my 'Adi Can' posts, she is Aid's real mother. But Adi has lived with us for the most of her life because Karen was in situations where it was very difficult to keep Adi. I think Adi is with us to stay.
Anyway, I told her I could put up a few 'Adi Can' posts on the photo blog also. I just put the suitcase picture there now, most of those readers/lookers don't come to my blog and vice/versa.

I'm glad you visited today. This will be my last blog for a while, I'm hoping to resume in October.

There are a lot of things I need to get done around here first. Also we plan to return to Scotland September 11 and return the 25th.

I'm hoping to keep on posting Wordless Wednesday pictures on or before Wednesdays to my picture blog, JIM'S LITTLE PHOTO HOLDER, for a while. At

I totally relate to Nathans need for routine ~ I'm the same way. I hope you got that hammock up and are taking a little break. You need to rest up so you can put together a good honey-do list for hubby when he comes!

Its always like that isnt it? So fun and lovely to vacation and spend time with family but then so nice to return to the joys and blessings of ordinary life.
