Edit: Since I put in a long day yesterday ... I'm taking it easy today (Friday). The only items not finished were balancing the checkbook and rocking the baby. As for cutting down the tree, I actually started that job last week using the saw blade on the end of my tree pruner. I'm off to Coeur d'Alene today ... County Assessor's office and maybe some strolling arounding town.

chop down a tree? Are you serious?

All right, now I'm having second thoughts about being a house guest - you might make me chop fire wood or pave a driveway or something. Where'd you hide your wonder woman cape?

Well, most of my to-do list got finished. The baby was not here long enough to rock on the porch. I did manage to go to the store with baby and Nathan. Yes, Mrs. Darling, I finished cutting down a very dead maple tree (hard wood). New growth had surrounded it and it was difficult to cut ... approx. 20 feet tall. When I heard it start cracking, I got the heck away ... it landed away from the house ... must have made a good cut :)
