I'm So "Dial-Up"

S L O W will soon be my middle or first name. I just found out that our new rural home is in an area not serviced by high speed Internet service. Here's hoping that my satellite TV connection has a faster mode of transportation ... otherwise it will be like stepping back in the dark ages of computer use for me.

We got the official OK with the county to move in today! So as soon as I unplug my computer, I may not have service again for the next week unless I visit my local library. I guess this comes with living in the country, a slower paced life, slower speed limits, and more time to smell the roses!

You sure did a good job getting around to leave your last minute comment on everyones sites. I feel honered that I was chosen for a comment. You'll have so much fun getting settled that you probably won't miss your compputer for a few days anyhow. I'm sooo happy for you, and it is soo nice of you to take time to share. It will be nice when you are back on line again. God bless you very much.
It was so much fun helping you build you new house from my chair in front of the computer. You might say I was the CHAIR person. lol You did quite a job and you should be pleased with yourself.

I'm not sure I could ever go back to dial-up... I'd tell the family, "You go ahead and move to the new house, I'm staying here." :)

I've heard about some kind of wireless Internet that is as fast as dial-up, just a bit more expensive. Have you looked into that?

I would write a witty note, but if you now have dial-up I could drive there and talk to you in person in the same amount of time it would take you to get on line! :)
Blessings on your home and all who dwell there !!

We have never had anything BUT dial up. But after spending seven weeks with a friend who has high speed... I am definitely feeling the slowness today!

Your new home is indeed beautiful, Mrs. Mac. May God bless you abundantly there.

I miss her too Terry - we need her to get settled and so can catch up on the latest! She must be putting extra time into getting my room all pretty :)
It's getting very close to "grandma time"!

I thought that the first thing Mrs.Mac got ready WAS your room Miss Patty!!
The only thing missing in that room is you and the Little Gift and Jacob and the "Dawg"!

Thanks for visiting my blog with your kind remarks..Love Terry

Our pc is so slow most of the time. We have high speed..my son thinks it may be blogger itself? or just that the pc is now over 3 years old. Its nice to be here visiting though. I'll come by any way I can...grin. Hope things are going well for you and you are getting enough rest! Thinking of you...=)

I'm assuming you're still trying to dial up.
