Summer Vacation - Part III

... company.

My parents are visiting and playing catch up with their grand kids.  Jacob has his Gigi wrapped around his little finger as she is a good audience for his imaginative play.  We're trying to squeeze every living bit of summer warmth out of this season ... it's predicted that our winter will be rather snowy.

Photos:  My parents (mom and step-dad, Helen and Otis), Jacob and his Gigi 'wearing' plastic volcanoes as hats, story time with her grands.

Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD.
From the house of the LORD we bless you.

Psalm 118:26

Great pictures Mrs. Mac. I can see your mother in you. Your folks look really sweet together. I love the picture of your mom with her two grandsons too.

Enjoy the rest of your summer.

My great-nephew calls my Mom GG (sounds the same), too.

How wonderful to have your parents with you! Barbara

These are the riches of life. There is nothing money could buy that could be more precious.
Your Mother is SO BEAUTIFUL..and you resemble her greatly!
Snowy winter, huh? I wonder if that prediction is for Michigan too?

For a moment I thought it was the real Mrs. Mac I saw, with a new, perfect hairdo.
It must be great to have her with you.
I bet she is impressed with the house, the garden and the wonderful family.
I can see that Nathan is so comfortable in her arms.

Well, M&M, you've had a pretty nice and peaceful summer vacation. I am glad you got to meet Danish relatives. (I had been thinking you were 100% German!) So they gave you some leads on people we could have visited? If they live in Copenhagen, for you we would have dropped a call or a short greeting if okay.

I have always wanted to go Kayaking. I am envious of you! It looks so pretty and peaceful out there where you were. :)

I didn't realize that your Mom was a "GIGI" as well! Here all this time I thought my kids were so creative giving me that name when I became a grand-mother and I am running across that title everywhere I go! looks like a wonderful summer and feel free to send your Idaho snow to Texas anytime you want! Today is our 18th day in a row of 100+ degree temps!!
