I says to me self, yes, when I was a wee child in first grade, hiding under me school desk during a 'A bomb drill' ... and remembering back through the fog the teacher's conversation about one day having "these United States taken over by the communists from within" ... to be exact ... she/he said that they (the communist) would plot to take over the land and we wouldn't be able to know they were the enemy because they would dress, talk, work beside us and go unnoticed until one day they overthrew us. Me thinks that day is upon us. No, I'm not 'chicken little' ... just a little chicken. Anyone else remember their teachers having a similar lesson plan?
Wake up America. Oh, I think it might be too late. The enemy has had us in his syrupy grip for quite some time. Remember 'pleasure island' from Pinocchio? We're the boys that are in the process of turning into donkeys from too much sinful pleasure. We've abandoned our call as a united people and have gone from a nation united under God to a mere notion soon forgotten.
Come Lord quickly.

Oh, Dear Mrs. Mac, I fear you are all too right. I also remember those lessons and thinking how 'old fashioned' the teacher was! Would to the Lord that more of us had listened and been more vigilent!
Especially since Terry went home, I yearn more and more for the Lord to come and take us all home. I am so weary of the struggle and so ready for the reward!

Yep I agree 100%! We are being slowly boiled so we wont feel the pain. I just cant believe the people are so dumb. But then as believers we are paying closer attention to the signs becasue we know what to look for. If only the others would listen!
Things they are a changin'. Why, Obama has lauded the determination and dedication of the LBGT movement. By proclaiming June as lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender pride month.
Yet, last month he didn't find it important enough to participate in our National Day of Prayer!!! Signs of the time are everywhere...there's a brand new feeling in the air. Keep your eyes upon the Eastern sky. Lift up your head Redemption draweth nigh!

I too remember those 'under the desks' days and the warnings of the teachers. In a very real sense they spoke prophetically. Oh it's not communism as we knew it then, it's insidiousness at its worst. So many are mocking the One True God ... spitting in His face and daring Him to do anything about it. They are the ones who have a rude, eternal awakening coming. But then too, the 'church' in America is being shaken also ... so that we see where our foundations truly lie. He already knows, we are the ones who need to face Truth and do something about it .. like repent and ask forgiveness.
As Trish said ... let's keep our eyes on the Eastern sky ... lift our heads ... our Redeemer is coming soon!

surely the lord IS coming soon.
it just seems that corruption is getting worse and worse.
everyday, it seems there are murders in toronto and it is mostly young people killing young people.
there seems to be no punishment for the offenders and it is literally being "crime does pay!"
what will happen to our young people? what future have they if we don't instill into their hearts the principles of god!
surely he is, as connie and trish and louise say coming to get his children, his bride and take us home.
did you ever hear that song, "wait a little longer please jesus"?
i know it is even wrong to think this but i also know that once the lord does come mrs. mac that it will be too late for dad golden and any of our loved ones to be saved because there will be no second chance.

I hope that people do not despair for the fate of our Nation is not at a complete loss. We ARE a Christian nation. WE SURROUND THEM.
The mainstream media propels the hype that the "majority" of Americans are so progressive and have left their religion for something more global. The reality is that the majority of Americans really have not forsaken their principles and their values.
Remember what our Nation was founded on! Remember our Founding Fathers! Our religion, our rights, our independence cannot be surrendered to the opposition that seeks to destroy what our Nation was founded on!
Even liberal-California repealed the gay-marriage! The majority of Americans are moderates and conservatives, not ultra liberals!
