These are good pictures of Jake! I would have no idea of why he was looking for a green pumpkin. Aren't they all supposed to be orange?
We might tell Felisol that a pumpkin 'field' is officially called a 'pumpkin patch.' :)
Browsing down, the first two pictures of Jake will rival any other you put.
Tied for my favorite along with Jake is the parlor picture of the parish house (??) because it brings memories. Mrs. Jim's uncle once had a stove like that one. His had the chimney running out the window.
Also tied was the pretty sail boat picture in your Coeur d'Alene post. It is soooooo pretty. .. Sorry I've been hiding as of late. I am not keeping up with my blogging friends. Guess I'll have to ask for Scarf Sister membership for an 'in person' visit. ..
Grand kids are SUCH a blessing! Now that I am older and don't have daily responsibilities to my own children I find myself saying "yes" to my grandchildren much more than I ever did to my own children! I think that's how it's supposed to be! They may keep us young but keeping up with them makes me feel old! Connie
The pumpkin patch is at our local u-pick farm. Jake was set on finding a green one (for some reason). He reminded me of Goldilocks in that some were too big and some were too small. He finally found a perfectly spooky green one with tendrils curling from its gnarly stem. He looks a bit disappointed with the orange one. Kids can be so funny and have set ideas at a young age.
