... "Walking In A Winter Wonderland" ...

... Old Frosty the Snowman paid us a visit (finally) yesterday. The Mr. and I got up early and used our new snow blower on the driveway. It works so much faster and better than having to use our four wheeler and plow. Just watch out if you're on my naughty list ... cuz the jet of snow this new blower throws has pretty accurate aim ... just ask the Mr :) OK, so I got a little carried away! The weather is that arctic blast (Miss Terry sent) from Canada. We're not supposed to be much above zero degrees by tomorrow. The dawg will be so happy she can live in the basement for a few days. She stood outside at my French door in the dining room with a pitiful look on her face all morning. Mr. Mac just headed off to Santa's workshop for a little charity gig at the airport. He was dressed as a keystone cop and had an important flight to catch with some needy children up to the North Pole. Will hopefully post a picture tomorrow. Have a toasty warm weekend inside by the fire. Hugs.

Dear Mrs. Mac,
where I grew up snow was the great joy for kinds and my Mom's greatest horror. They have a bungalow house with snow falling from the roof on four sides. For various reasons the were roads around the house that had to be kept open.
Now we've got this global heating and hardly see snow during wintertime. My Mom has allied her self with a tractor guy who plows the main road for a farthing.
...If they only had listened to me years ago!
Your blower sure seems to do the job properly.
Good scout girl again was prepared.
Have a peaceful third Sunday of Advent.
From Felisol

If it were possible, I'd want to build a gigantic wall to keep it your weather from moving in my direction! It's 38 degrees right now, but I dare not get too excited.
My cousin was often the pilot on those flights to the North Pole. It was one of the highlights of his career as an airline pilot. Good for Mr. Mac, a good heart award goes out to him, and a special prayer for those children and parents.

Oh Mrs. Mac!
We are just having rain here now and tomorrow it is supposed to be 52 degrees. You just keep all of that white stuff over there in Idaho!
What a thrill for the children to see a keystone police officer!!.Love Terry

It is raining here...wish it were snow, it would be much prettier than this drab gray day. As Pat said her cousin who happens to be my brother-in-law was a Pilot on those North Pole flights for years.
He loved it...thank Mr. Mac for his faithfulness to these little ones.

Your arctic front (dare I say Canadian again, I might hear about that one Tee Hee!) has hit us here in Texas. Charles my Meteorologist wanna-be son was glued to his weather sites most of the afternoon watching its progress. He'd state that "Valley View" which is only 10 miles north of "Ponder" is 30 degrees colder! We actually heard the rush of cold air when it hit us here in Denton! I do believe we'll have another fire in the fireplace tonight! Of course I JUST cleaned it out and got all of my nutcrackes back in place after last week's fire in the fireplace! Oh well, a small price to pay!

I think that wintry weather is finally making its way to Pennsylvania --we're supposed to have snow and freezing rain tonight. ugh.

Snow is so much better and nicer and prettier and SAFER than freezing rain!
