My Soldier Boy Home on Leave

In about an hour I'm off to the airport to "collect" my oldest son. He's coming home for ten days of R & R, chowing down on his mom's famous food, meeting his new nephew, and giving me a hand around this place. Will be back later to post pictures.

well it truly sounds like you need to take a break and just enjoy your son with your son. Goodness woman, you're going to kill yourself with all that work!

How exciting to have your son home. I am sorry that I haven't been checking the blogs lately, I've been kind of busy. Thank your son for us for what he has and is doing. I know there are no words than can thank him adequately.

Stumbled upon your blog this morning while I should have been doing a million other things. I'm marking it in my favorites, if you don't mind. I want to come back and read more from just skimming the top this am. Nice to meet ya.

Is "son" in my room?
You're going to have to answer to Terry if he's using that claw foot bath tub!

I see....when any of the chilren are home the rest of the world can pass on by and you don't even notice..... I don't blame you and I'm glad to see it actually. Our children are our greatest blessing, nothing can take their place. They're worth every minute of our time, we can spend with them. Praying all is well and blessings to you. I miss you even though I understand. ----gramma_s

Well, I'm not dead (yet ;) Just having fun with my mommy and daddy now ;)

Sara, Frankly (deer) showed up a few mornings ago nursing twins (I had no idea ;)

Pat ... No one is using the claw foot tub (except yours truly) so far. The boy slept in the family room down in the basement once his grandparents showed up. Now they're in your room ... just trying it out ... mom thinks the bed is very comfy ... pop is shoveling rock for me (poor guy). The boy (Patrick) left yesterday (sniff, sniff) ... but I have the little angel (Jacob) that I'm trying to get on a better feeding schedule for his mom. I'll be back soon. Thanks for checking up on me. hugs to all

Mom and Pop certainly have priority over me, and even Patrick for that bedroom - enjoy all your family, kiss baby sweetie pie and then get back to blogging - I miss you!
