Louise tagged me on this meme:
- I always wear socks to bed (summer/winter/spring/fall)
- I always wear sensible shoes ... I own three pairs...one for every day, one for gardening, one for special occasions. The everyday pair is worn 95 % of the time.
- I always clip my nails short ... don't have the time or care to paint them.
- I've been a homemaker for 27 years and can make an entire four course meal from whatever is at hand in the fridge or pantry.
- I prefer monochromatic color schemes with a splash of red
- my family is genetically programmed to LOVE potatoes ... probably from my Irish heritage

Not silly at all...I loved getting to know more about you through what you shared!
I think you're right....loving potatoes is just an Irish thing! It's as good an excuse as I can come up with anyways!!! Thanks for sharing!
Many hugs........
Diane
Way to go Mrs Mac, you 're one of a kind as we say here.
My family could live off of mashed potatoes and gravy! It's one of the basic food groups right?

Potatoes...in some form were always a part of our meals growing up. Never baked potatoes though...guess it wasn't a Southern thing. And I am part Irish...coming from a town named Erin I guess that's kinda obvious!
I too, wear socks to bed every night!
And this was not nonsense...I enjoyed learning these tidbits about you.
Nonesense?...bah humbug!Your so silly!
These are good bits of info, now I won't send you the latest, greatest color of nail polish!
Does anyone not love potatoes? I know I do, in any form or recipe. Baked, mashed, au gratin, hash browns, scalloped, french fried, boiled, potatoe salad, breakfast, lunch or dinner! I think there's a blog about potatoes in there somewhere! tee hee!!
loved your list... I'm with you on the socks, the meal, potatoes, not the shoes though... but I am kind of practical.
That was fun to read! I like your list. You reminded me of the Gene Stratton-Porter book...her Father's Daugher..and her common sense shoes.
I'm with you on nos. 3 & 4. Tis good to be like you!
Barbara
