I just had to go open a large envelope with old photos that my mom left a few weeks ago. When you're in the midst of raising youngin's, seems you look forward to the day they are independent. When they're independent, seems you look back and wish they were little once again.
first: Nathan- age 3 (1999), second: Elizabeth & Ann - ages 10 & 5 (1995)
third: Elizabeth & Patrick - ages 2 & 5 (1987), fourth: Ann age 3 (1992)
But from everlasting to everlasting
the LORD's love is with those who fear him,
and his righteousness with their children's children
Psalm 103:17

and his righteousness with their children's children

You've given me a good idea! We should challenge other bloggers to post some nostalgic pics of their family on a specific day! I LOVE the pic of Nathan!
Connie
Amen to that! I often miss those fondly remembered days when the kids were young...definitely before teenagerdom..they were cute and sweet and we held them in our hands...they were our world and we were theirs...but I don't think I want to go back...not with teenagerdom standing in the way...yikes! :) I'll just live vicariously through the grandkids..:)
Precious and beautiful photos of babies so well loved.
These serve to show how extremely wealthy you are - I share in your blessings.
Thank you for this post, and the moment of reflection, and the thankful spirit it's brought to me.
To quote a favorite song..."Sunrise - sunset, swiftly go the days".
Those are nice pictures that bring nice memories. I love to look at old pictures.
Mrs. Jim has a rule (#A-601), "If it dies or leaves we won't replace it and it can't come back."
So pictures are very nice to have around here. Of course we did break that rule once in a while (for Aid and five kids among others, but no more fish!).
..
