The past few days have found me in the yard pulling weeds from our new lawn, planting perennials, shrubs, and digging rock hard dirt with a shovel and pickaxe. We haven't had a smidgen of rain for several weeks and the soil is very dry; the natural grass in the landscape is turning brown. Monday I mowed the wild grass along our parkway ... and weed whacked too. I shall consider this my exercise for the week (or punishment) ... along with walking the dog around our "loop" a few times. Boy, am I sore! Hopefully next week I can get our landscaper back to install the drip lines for the flower beds ... having to hand water everyday is quite a job.
It's late ... I'm tired ... maybe tomorrow my brain wont' be as "fried" and I can actually think of something better to write.
But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away.

That very same enemy sows weeds in our yard too!!
Listen Pioneer girlfriend - it sounds like you need some company just to make you sit still for a moment!!
What's Terry been up to? Haven't heard from her in a while...she's not sitting in your rocking chair with Jacob is she?
I enjoy the fruit of my labor (yardwork) but man it just sucks the life out of me!

Aw Mrs. Mac!!
You just look like the mother in the "Little House On The Prairie".
Doing all that weeding and getting no respect!
It seems even the weeds are laughing at you as if to say, Don't worry lady...plenty more where THAT comes from!"
You have my permission to take the day off.
Just leave the weeding until Miss Patty gets there and you may as well leave the dishes too.
Yep, like I said, "Take the day off Gramma Mac and you can even have a nice leisurely soak in my tub, Ok?...Love Terry
It was good to catch up, I was gone last week. I like Frankly. I think Sara needs her.
Oh my, the lady at our local garden center said I should shoot Frankly and put her in the freezer ;) (no joke)
