Dont' Even Go There, Dear Hubby

Today's conversation via long distance phone: (Mrs. Mac) "Blah, blah, blah .... mumble, mumble, mumble, oh yeah, the dog fence people were by today, the carpet installers were here too, the spa man was here, blah, blah, waaah, waaah, it's hot inside without the a/c." (DH) "I think we should put in a split rail fence along part of the side yard" ... ("the multi-stacked, zig-zagged type ... I'm envisioning $$$$ signs) oops, did I just say my thoughts out loud to DH???") (DH) "Well, maybe if we use some of your "HAIR" money (did he mean my beauty parlor $?), we can buy another section of fence. " "YOU SAID WHAT!!" "Don't even go there, dear hubby."

Yes, anyone still following my trials of home building ... Heat, Humidity, and Hormones have wreaked Havoc in my life.

Update on the broken brand new a/c: Part being shipped from Texas via a UPS truck is being tracked and possibly lost (or so I'm told).

I think you are all better off if I don't post while in such a frenzied condition ;)

.... "I can dream can't I?" ... what I'd really like to be doing right now

If you want, I could send you a couple of 'funeral home fans' that I have laying around here. Maybe that would help the A/C problem.
They too would be coming from Texas!

Maybe in the meantime you could go to the library when it gets really hot, you can use their A/C.
..
Hope this helped. If not I can come up with some more ideas.
Just don't call me 'Job,' it's 'Jim.'

Oh no he dee-n't! Now he's crossed the line!
How can a UPS truck be lost? Maybe he took a detour to get some authentic Mexican food!
It's 77 degrees here right now, but pretty humid - or at least it is from the looks of my hair. Maybe you should come visit me right now, we'll take a trip around all your old favorite Michigan sights and stop at Margies for dinner!

Thanks for the offer of the funeral home fans Jim (that's mighty wide of you ;) I have used the library idea before ... Today it's actually only supposed to be 81 degrees ... God thundered and lightninged up the skies and poured a few inches of rain to our dry parched part of the country. Pat, I'm very tempted to take you up on the offer ... especially dinner at Margies :)

Sorry that it is so hot for you Mrs. Mac.
Today we got lots of rain and now it is cold again.
Maybe you and the little gift just better pack up and I will get Jim's grand daughter,Adi, to pick you up and fly you right over to our Canadian home.
Forget about bringing the dawg...Nothing worse than two dawgs living under the same roof!
Miss Patty can come along if she wants to....Love Terry

I guess I'm spoiled but I can't even think about doing without AC without fainting. I'll be sure to think of you when I'm all curled up on the couch with a blanket.. It's in the upper 90's here, outside and 74 - 76 inside. Honestly though I'm sorry to hear that such bad things have happened to you. God loves you !!!! How is little Nathan doing in all this heat? Love, Gramma_s
