The Finished "Shopping" Results

My sensible shopping side went with this outfit for my daughter's winter wedding. The top even looks great with a pair of new dressy jeans and boots. The black shoes are nice and comfy .. no pointy toes or heels! I know the "old school" rule is to not wear red or black to a wedding ... but I say "pooey"!

The maid of honor is wearing apple red too, so I'll just blend right in with the photos.

Very pretty!
I don't think there are any 'what not to wear to a wedding' rules any more. Just the old "never look prettier then the bride" rule which is totally impossible any way..no one is prettier then a bride!!

Dear Mrs. Mac.
The color of the top is going to go so nice with your hair.
And black? You are like my sister Sandra, you will be able to wear it well! You will look just stunning. I hope that you will put a picture on your blog so we can see how pretty you will look!
AND.. you are SO lucky being able to wear high heels. I have to wear old women shoes now because I was forever falling down when I wore "raised" shoes...Ha!!...Love Terry

The color of your outfit is lovely and I'm sure you will look lovely in it. I love your shoes they are dressy looking, yet decent and not real showy. They will make a lovely accent to your outfit. I never did like it when all you could remember of a person's outfit was their shoes.

Nathan has a sitter lined up for the entire day! He'd be quite a handful and get terribly bored.
