Snow Good
Just a dusting of snow, maybe one inch during the evening commute was predicted. Our weather guys sure missed the mark yesterday. It began snowing around 2-ish in the afternoon and more than a dusting was deposited, which meant I had to get my exercise this morning shoveling the driveway and sidewalk. Our roads had just dried out from the last dumping of snow a week or so ago. There was even a "train -vs- auto" not far from home. No injuries (thank God) ...
What I'm glad for today:
1. The ability to shovel snow :) ... it's really good exercise!
2. A warm home, food, and winter clothes
3. My new neighbor friend, Paula
I wonder if Miss Terry has any snow up in Manitoba??
Leave me a note about something you're thankful for today.

Let's see... Lots of things! But today especially I'm thankful for the blessings of peace God has given our little church here in New Albin. We've been through some pretty big changes in the past year or so and come through them stronger. We had an annual meeting Sunday that went like no other meeting I am aware of: Unanimous votes on every issue. Amazing. Normally those meetings are so fractious I come away wondering how some of the people will be able to face each other next week in services. This was totally different. Thanks be to God!
sure looks like more than a dusting to me!
I'm thankful for the great (free!) buffet dinner we had last night on base! It's always nice not to have to cook dinner!

Mrs. Mac...after being thankful for the love of God...I'm going to say, I'm thankful for good Christian novels. I'm enjoying reading so very much just now. Its so relaxing and when a book can make me laugh my head off..(well, so to say) and almost bring me to tears as I follow thier story line..my cup runneth over.. =).
Dear Mrs. Mac...Well I DO think that Miss Saija did mention that Manitoba is getting lots of snow..
And now I have to admit...We in Ontario, finally are covered with a thick white blanket of the white stuff!!
What I am thankful for?...Well the snow is so fluffy and dry on the ground that it was impossibe for me to make a snowman for which I am glad because it was way too cold to stay out too long.
However I DID go out long enough to carve your name, Mrs. Mac on to the Palace's snow coved grounds and take a picture of it and I will put it on a posting soon!!.............Love Terry
