Weekend of Relaxation

This weekend I have absolutely NO PLANS. My calendar page is blank ... actually, most of my weekends are that way, what with the Mr. gone. Let's see, I think today would be a great day to try a new place for brunch, then maybe take a nice drive along the lakeshore ... stopping of course to skip stones with Nathan. Then this afternoon, there's a long walk in the works with my pooch to get some of her nervous energy out of her. Afterwards, I'll come inside for a nice pot of tea, maybe a black and white movie, then a bubblebath and of course some magazines. Tomorrow is church and then off to Wallyworld for dinner fixings. My cell phone may be turned off too! What is on your agenda this weekend?

I'm sick so my weekend will be spent mostly laying around. Nothing serious...just a cold, but enough to make me feel miserable.
Your weekend sounds perfect except for missing hubby.
Is Lake Coeur d'Alene near your place? It looks so pretty.

We spent the day in the backyard, digging in the sand and throwing frisbees. Maybe we'll do the same tomorrow...

I cleaned my office. Not exciting, but oh so necessary. I caught up on filing that I hadn't bothered to do since I filed our 2005 tax return. :o)

Barry is building himself a study in the basement, and he worked all day yesterday on that, and will probably hit it again this afternoon. It's going to be a very nice little place for him to escape from all of us. He found a whole bunch of old interior doors that people were throwing away, and he's using them, complete with doorknobs and hinges, to panel the longest wall of his room. It's going to look cool.

This afternoon I'm hoping to do some quilting. I have a charity quilt to put together and everybody is wondering if I ever will.

A lovely quiet weekend for us, too.

Saturday I was so good...and washed windows, scrubbed the kitchen floor, ironed a mountain of clothes (it seemed like it anyway...grin) and did not spin or anything resembling having a good time. Still, it is gratifying to get things caught up...a little. Today, a quiet day of worship at church...just resting in the Lord. Whoops, forgot, after church was cello practise and more of that in the morning. And, then, perhaps I'll start a new cross-stitch chart..'Snapperville'. Its so nice!
